The Inauguration of Donald J. Trump had for theme “Uniquely American.” It was held in Washington, DC from January 17 to 21, 2017 and was bookmarked by various protests and quasi-riots in the DC area.
It was estimated that less than 200,000 people attended the public swearing ceremony, which was held on January 20, 2017 in front of the United States Capitol Building in Washington, DC.
President Trump is the 45th President of the United States and is the oldest and allegedly wealthiest person who has held this post. He may also be the most controversial in his stated beliefs and stated policies which has angered minorities, women, those who believe in the principles of the separation of Church and State, foreign allies such as Mexico, Australia, among others.
Upon insuguration, President Trump filed the necessary paperwork for his re-election in 2020 allowing him to start soliciting and to receive election campaign donations. He is the only President to have ever done so immediatly upon inauguration.
