Nima Taradji Photography

I am an Iranian-American editorial and documentary photographer based in Chicago, Illinois-USA. I retired as an attorney a few years ago and I decided to pick up photography, again. To be a photographer was a desire of mine since I was ten years old and walked around with a plastic camera my dad had given me. As a documentary photographer my attention is drawn to the cultural, social and political landscape of our society and I photograph people and stories I find important and to which I can commit. I see my camera as a tool that gives me access to places and allows me to explore the world and issues that would have otherwise remained a mystery. Photography is and has been a perpetual learning experience.
